Audio Visual (AV) Field Technician Job DescriptionGST is currently seeking an experienced Audio Visual (AV) field technician/installer who is a problem solver, experienced with AV products/technology, and a team player.
The ideal candidate will have strong AV technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and great teamwork skills.
Training is provided.
The position has growth opportunities to Lead Technician, AV Programmer/Engineer, or Project Manager.
Job RequirementsInstall, setup, and configure equipment for AV equipment including:
LCD, projectors, video conferencing, AV racks, cabling, etc.
Solve technical issues involving the performance and status of audio visual equipment including AV rack equipment, controllers, speakers, projectors, etc.
Perform cable drops, wiring, wiring terminationsLoad and change controller software and programsAssist with design and planning of audio visual solutionsProvide break/fix and troubleshooting supportPerform other duties related to AV and IT tasks Qualifications2
years of related technology and installation jobsMust be able to lift up to 40 poundsComfortable with heightsExcellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)Compensation &
