HR Clerk

An excellent company near Cerritos is looking for an HR Clerk who works well in a fast paced environment. This HR Clerk position will help compile and maintain employee records for a company or organization. Assistants typically aid with the daily administrative operations of the human resource department and interact with employees, management and other business associates. Knowledge of company and legal employment policies, office procedures and customer service standards typically is essential for those working in a human resource department.
Pay: $14 to$16 per hour DOE
Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Duties for the HR Clerk will include but not limited to the following:
o Familiar with worker compensation
o Verifying timecards
o Maintaining employee records
o Presenting benefits packages
o Interviewing new employees, checking references

To be eligible for the HR Clerk must meet all of the following requirements:
o 1-3 years of HR and customer service experience
o Bilingual Spanish
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with intermediate Word and Excel skills required
o Must be detailed oriented have excellent follow-through skills
o Must have outstanding communications skills (verbal and written)
o Must have High School Diploma

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
