The ideal candidate will perform varied tasks within the Food and Nutrition Services department to include:
assisting in the preparation and delivery of food trays to assigned patients; sets up serving lines; cleans dining, service and food preparation areas; cleans and sanitizes dishes, kitchen utensils and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Effectively performs all assigned tasks properly and completely, in a timely manner.
Continuously follows correct procedures for adherence to information on patient profile card and menus.
Sets up patient trays appropriately, following department procedures.
Prepares coffee, nourishments, salads, and desserts as assigned.
Properly sanitizes dishes and service ware appropriately.
Collects data for Quality Assurance/ Performance Improvement measures accurately and timely.
Regularly attends and participates in ongoing department training.
Effectively performs additional duties and responsibilities as position requires.
Qualifications:
6 months' experience working in food services in a hospital setting preferred.
