As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating sales & marketing projects and activities for the southwest region.
You will be handling the different phases of projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, to closing.
Additionally, you will supervise the Customer Relationship Management System (SugarCRM) and sales operations that includes over 50 sales users region wide.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry; preferably in a marketing, sales support, data analytics, or similar role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communications skills.
Ability to display discretion with confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates the creation and production of marketing materials.
Conduct market research analysis using Datamyne and Panjiva to identify search query trends, real-time search and news media activity, popular social media topics, market opportunities, and competitor performance.
Filter, distribute, and monitor sales lead information to regional sales team with SugarCRM.
Providing CRM coaching as required.
Organize progressive sales activity reports with SugarCRM for sales management and overseas headquarters weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Develop and monitor sales and marketing campaigns; reporting on effectiveness and return on investment of said campaigns and activities.
Maintain customer database and generate database reports, such as lists and counts for direct marketing projects.
Prepare and launch strategic activities, such as surveys and newsletters, to target customer audience to improve regional marketing.
Research and pilot new promotional materials, tools, and media outlets to increase brand awareness.
Handle ad-hoc projects, including marketing research, management reports, and client presentations.
Coordinate with other regional offices for company-wide marketing events, reports, and presentations.
Salary:
$20-$26/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications is preferred.
