- Variety of personal assistant duties - Assist attorneys in organizing and maintaining legal documents and files - Perform data entry tasks to input and update client information - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Transcribe dictations and prepare correspondence and legal documents - Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and manage legal files - Provide general clerical and administrative support to the legal team - File and organize physical and electronic documents - Assist with due process complaints, including reviewing, drafting, and tracking complaints - Assist Attorneys with evolving tasks and responsibilities required by Attorneys Requirements:
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Fluent in writing and speaking Spanish - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Proficient in proofreading legal documents for errors or inconsistencies - Ability to transcribe dictations accurately and efficiently - Familiarity with document management systems and their functions - Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred - Knowledge of Special Education Law is a plus - Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is a plus This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
